Speaking in a meeting with Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad movement Ziad al-Nakhala in Tehran on Sunday, the president added that the ultimate victory is for the proud Palestinian nation and it is very close.

He added that the Palestinians are more united than before today and has the support of world nations in the region and beyond.

Raeisi said in the past, there were some who had pinned hope on negotiations and concessions to get rid of the Zionist regime’s occupation and oppression but today, even they are pinning hopes on the resistance forces.

He further slammed attempts at normalization of ties between Arab countries and the Israeli regime and said these attempts, one of whose aims is frustrating Palestinian youths’ hope of liberation of occupied lands, are doomed to failure.

Nakhala in this meeting said the Palestinian nation appreciates the continuous support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the cause of Palestine.

He added that the Islamic Republic is a major and influential country in the region that plays a decisive role in regional and international equations.

Nakhala further briefed the Iranian president on the recent 5-day war with the Zionist regime and the accomplishments of the resistance forces in the battle.

He said the Zionist regime had to announce following the most recent round of conflicts that it has come to an agreement with the resistance forces and such an admission was a big victory for Palestine.
